The service

Slate is a private queue for material you choose to save. You are responsible for your account, private reading address, saved links, and lawful use of the service. Do not use Slate to abuse another service, evade access controls, or store material you have no right to use.

Access and purchases

Your first 20 saved items are available without a purchase. Lifetime access is a one-time purchase at the price shown at checkout, plus any applicable taxes. On the web, Stripe processes the purchase. In Apple apps, Apple displays and processes the purchase, and Apple's purchase, refund, and family-sharing rules apply; Restore Purchase is available in Settings.

Web purchases have a 60-day refund window, no questions asked: email hello@slatereader.com from your account email within 60 days of purchase and the refund is issued to your original payment method, typically arriving within 5–10 business days of processing. When a purchase is refunded or disputed, lifetime access ends: everything you saved stays readable, and new saves fall back to the free limit. Apple purchases are refunded through Apple, under Apple's rules.

Availability

Slate depends on websites, feeds, email systems, and platform services outside its control. Extraction or delivery may fail, and linked media may change or disappear. Slate is provided without a promise that every source will remain available or readable.

Your account

You may stop using Slate at any time and may delete your account in the Apple apps. Slate may limit or suspend abusive, unlawful, or security-threatening use. Records that must be retained for fraud prevention, purchase reconciliation, or law may outlive account deletion.

Apple apps

Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies to Slate's Apple apps except where these terms provide additional service-specific rules.
